How much does the new iphone 3gs cost in the store?

I am travelling to America later on this year, and I am wanting to buy and iphone 3g s 32 GB or 16 GB and bring it back to my home country and use it with my sim card. How much is it will it cost for me to walk in to a store and just buy either of these version, I will have to unlock it when I bring it back to my home country.
